Ridley Scott's Robin Hood! (July 2009)

Spent over a month working on the set of the new blockbuster movie 'Robin Hood' starring Russell Crowe.

As a member of 'Combat International' it was our job to perform the majority of close quarter combat stunts and large scale battle scenes in the movie.

New Battle of Bannockburn Film! (Oct 2008)

The National Trust for Scotland recently announced that it was to make a new version of its "Battle of Bannockburn" educational drama currently playing at the Stirling heritage centre.

I was invited along to fight at this remake of the Battle of Bannockburn (Tick -off 'another thing to do before I die')

'Warriors' History Channel 2008

A new series entitled Warriors which will be shown on the History Channel featured a short section on unarmed combat of medieval Scotland.

Host Terry Schappert travels to Scotland to examine the epic Battle of Stirling Bridge where William "Braveheart" Wallace and his rag-tag band of soldiers took on the full power of the English army. Terry uses his expertise as a Green Beret to breakdown this battle through the eyes of the soldiers. He'll explain how the techniques, weaponry, and strategy of these warriors influenced the surprising outcome of the battle.
